GEBRUIK IN VERBINDING MET EEN SMARTPHONE OF TABLET
VOORBEREIDING VAN DE INSTALLATIE

I-COMPANION XL INSTALLEREN
Om i-Companion xl te installeren is het volgende nodig:
• De Companion-app, die gratis kan worden gedownload van de App Store (iPhone/iPad) en Google Play
(Android)
• Een Bluetooth® Smart 4.0-verbinding vanuit je smartphone of tablet: i-Companion xl maakt verbinding
met je smartphone/tablet via een autonome draadloze verbinding
• De smartphone/tablet moet zich dicht bij de ’i-Companion xl bevinden (De afstand waarover de verbinding
kan worden gelegd, varieert afhankelijk van de woning).
• Een stopcontact om de i-Companion xl op aan te sluiten: de i-Companion xl kan alleen verbinding maken
met je smartphone of tablet wanneer hij op de elektriciteit is aangesloten.
DE I-COMPANION XL VOOR HET EERST VERBINDEN
Downloaden van de app
Download eerst de app op je smartphone/tablet door verbinding te maken met de App Store voor iOS
of Google Play voor Android.
Het downloaden kost maar een paar minuten en je hoeft geen account aan te maken. Als de app is
gedownload, kan je je eerste recepten maken met de i-Companion xl. (Als je geen account aanmaakt,
krijg je 50 recepten).
Wanneer je een account hebt aangemaakt op de app, krijg je toegang tot alle inhoud voor een
maximale variatie in je menu’s.
Inschakeling van het apparaat
Frequentie: 2,40GHz. Maximaal uitgezonden vermogen: 7,7dBm
Je apparaat heeft een 0/1-schakelaar. Zet deze op 1. (zie Fig. 9).
Op het lcd-scherm staan alle parameters op ‘0’.
Wanneer het apparaat verbonden is met een smartphone of tablet, is het lcd-scherm van de
i-Companion xl blauw.
Over Bluetooth® Smart
De Bluetooth® Smart 4.0-technologie (Bluetooth Low Energy) maakt draadloze communicatie
tussen een app en een apparaat mogelijk waarbij maar heel weinig energie wordt verbruikt.
