. SAFETY DEVICE
- Keep the knife out of the reach of children
- Make sure that the wattage of your fuse box
corresponds to the one of your main supply.
Any error in connecting your appliance
invalidates the guarantee
- If the mains lead is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its customer
service or an similarly qualified person to
prevent any danger.
- Keep the mains lead away from the blades
whilst in use.
- Keep the mains lead away from any heating
sources.
- This appliance is for domestic purposes
only.
- Unplug the appliance after use and before
cleaning.
. ASSEMBLING THE BLADES
- The knife should be unplugged when fitting
the blades
- The blades are in their protecting covers (A),
the cutting edges downwards.
- Gently slide them into the knife and push
against the blades guards (B) until they click.
- When fitted, remove the protective covers
(A) from the blades.
Caution : the blades are very sharp, be very
careful when handling them.
. USING YOUR BLADES
- The universal blades (C) have been
developed to improve cutting especially
crusty foods (bread, meat...)
- The frozen food blades (D) (depending on
model) cut through all frozen foods.
- Never try to cut bones.
. USING YOUR ELECTRIC KNIFE
- Plug in your appliance, push down button
(E) with your thumb then slide it forwards.
. TO REMOVE THE BLADES
- Unplug the knife, press the button (H),
maintain pressure and remove the blades
by pulling the guards
Caution : blades are extremely sharp
. CLEANING
- Dismantle the blades by sliding the rivet (J)
out of the keyhole slot (I). Wash them with
hot soapy water or place them in the
dishwasher.
- Clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth
and dry carefully.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or
place it under running water.
. STORAGE
You can wrap the flex around the knife and
keep it in place with the suction pad.
A ring on the flex allows you to hang up your
appliance on the wall so that it is always to
hand.
