What to do if your appliance
does not work
- First check that it is properly connected, then:
- that the bowl (b3) is correctly positioned, that
the lid (b2) is properly locked, that the
accessories are properly seated and that the
control knob (a3) is in the required position.
If these instructions are not followed, your food
processor cannot work.
You have carefully followed all these instruc-
tions and your appliance still does not work?
If this is the case, contact a Moulinex approved

booklet).

Recipes
DOUGHS AND BATTERS (Leave pastry to
rest for 1 hr in the fridge before use)
Short-crust pastry (For a 24-cm tin)
- Into the bowl, fitted with the stainless steel
blade, put 200 g plain flour, 100 g block
margarine cut in cubes and a pinch of salt.
- Run the processor for 10 seconds until it
resembles fine breadcrumbs, then pour
50 ml cold water in through the feed tube while
it is running.
- Allow the processor to run until the dough forms
a good ball.
Sweet pastry (For a 24-cm tin)
- Into the bowl, fitted with the stainless steel
blade, put 200 g caster sugar, 2 egg yolks and
100 g softened butter.
- Run the processor for 30 seconds then add
200 g plain flour and a pinch of salt, then run
the processor a ball is formed.
Pizza dough (for one 28 cm pizza)
- Into the bowl, fitted with the stainless steel
blade, put 150 g of strong white bread flour,

tsp Easybake or Fast action yeast, a pinch
of salt and

tsp sugar.
- Run the processor for 10 seconds, then pour
in 90 ml of warm water (1 part boiling water
and 2 parts cold water) and 4 teaspoons of olive
oil and process until the dough forms a ball.
- Allow to rise until the volume of the dough is
doubled (about 1 hour). Roll out the dough into
a 28 cm circle.
Pancake batter (for 16 thin crêpes)
- Into the bowl, fitted with the stainless steel
blade, put 2 eggs, 2 teaspoon oil, 15 g sugar
and

litre milk.
- Run the processor with the Spiral system for
10 seconds, then pour in 200 g plain flour (first
remove and replace the spiral system) and let
the machine run until you obtain a smooth
batter.
Leave to stand for 1 hour.
SAUCES
Mayonnaise
- Into the bowl, fitted with the emulsifier, put
1 egg yolk, 2 teaspoon French mustard,
1 teaspoon wine vinegar, salt and pepper.
- Run the processor for 10 seconds. Very slowly
pour 250 ml oil (olive or sunflower) in a thin
stream through the feed tube with the processor
running for about 1

Tartare sauce
- Into the bowl, fitted with the stainless steel
blade, put the mayonnaise and chop in 100 g
of gherkins, a small onion and 1 bunch of herbs
(chervil, chives, parsley and tarragon) and
2 dessert spoons of capers, running the
processor for 40 seconds.
Cocktail Sauce
- In the bowl, fitted with the emulsifier, mix into
the mayonnaise 1 dessert spoon of tube tomato
purée, a few drops of hot red pimento sauce, a
dash of Worcester sauce and run the processor
for 20 seconds.
