SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is designed for
domestic use only. Any
commercial use, inappropriate
use or failure to comply with the
instructions, the manufacturer
accepts no responsibility and
the guarantee will not apply.
• Before using your appliance,
read the instructions carefully.
Check that the voltage marked
on the appliance is the same as
that of your electrical installation.
Do not plug your appliance into
a socket that does not have an
earth pin.
• Unplug the appliance when
cleaning it or in case of
problems. Do not unplug the
appliance by pulling on the
power cord. Ensure that during
use the power cord is not in
contact with sharp edges or hot
surfaces.
• If the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the
manufacturer, the after sales
service or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid any
danger.
• Do not attempt to dismantle the
appliance.
• Do not place the appliance on
hot surfaces or close to flames,
place on a flat, sable heat-
resistant surface away from
splashes of water. Also avoid
touching the hot surfaces of the
appliance with your hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance in
water.
• Check that the head is locked
correctly in place before starting
a coffee-making cycle and do
not open the head when the
indicator light remains lit, as this
means that the appliance is still
pressurised.
• Do not start to make coffee if
the head of the appliance is
open or not locked into place.
• Do not use ground coffee
without a filter pod or with a pod
that is torn, as you could
damage the appliance.
• If there is ground coffee in the
pod holder, or the head, clean
the percolator head to avoid
the grid from becoming
blocked.
• This appliance is compatible
with all soft single cup pods with
a diameter of 71 mm. ESE (Easy
Serving Espresso) type pods of
smaller diameter are not
compatible with this appliance.
• This appliance is not intended for
use by persons (including
children) with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• The appliance should be
unplugged when it is not in use.
