DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY SEQUENCES AUSBAU-/MONTAGESEQUENZEN

8 FRONT WHEEL

REMOVAL

• Place the motorcycle on the centre stand;

• Position a support under the motorcycle to lift the front

wheel off the ground;

• undo screws “A” that secure the brake calipers to the

fork, and remove the calipers “B” together with their

hoses;

• undo nut “C” left hand side spindle pinch

• loosen fork spindle pinch screws “E”;

• withdraw spindle “F”, noting how spacers “D” are fit-

ted;

• remove the front wheel from the front fork legs.

REASSEMBLY

• After carrying out all necessary wheel checks, reas-

semble as follows:

• Place the complete wheel between the fork legs;

• Lubricate the shank and thread of the wheel spindle

with the recommended grease.

• Position the spacer “D”, insert the spindle fully home

in the wheel hub and tighten the nut “C” manually;

• Tighten the 2 screws “E” to the prescribed torque;

• Secure the spindle “F” by tightening the nut “C” to the

specified torque;

• Refit the brake callipers;

• Check that the discs run freely inside the callipers and

then operate the brake lever repeatedly to bring the

calliper pistons to their regular position.

8 VORDERRAD

ABNAHME

• Das Fahrzeug auf dem mittleren Ständer aufbocken.

• Auf jeden Fall noch einen Halter unter dem Motorrad

ausrichten, der ein Abheben des Vorderrads vom Bo-

den ermöglicht.

• Die Schrauben “A”, die die Bremssättel an den Gabel-

holmen befestigen, lösen, dann die Bremssättel “B”

mit noch montierten Leitungen von den Holmen neh-

men.

• Die Radachsenmutter “C” an der linken Seite lösen.

• Die Schrauben “E” der Befestigung der Gleitrorhe an

der Achse lockern.

• Die Achse “F” herausziehen, dabei beachten, wie das

Distanzstück “D” montiert ist.

• Das Vorderrad aus den Aufnahmen der Gabelholme

herausziehen.

MONTAGE

• Nach Durchführung der am Rad erforderlichen Kon-

trollen die erneute Montage in folgender Weise aus-

üben:

• Das komplette Rad zwischen die Gabelholme einfü-

gen.

• Den Schaft und das Gewinde der Radachse mit dem

empfohlenen Fett schmieren.

• Das Distanzstück ausrichten “D”, dann die Radachse

an der Radnabe auf Anschlag bringen und die Mutter

“C” mit der Hand anziehen.

• Die 2 Schrauben “E” auf das vorgeschriebene Anzugs-

moment bringen.

• Die Achse “F” mit der Mutter “C” auf das vorgeschrie-

bene Anzugsmoment bringen.

• Die Bremssättel montieren.

• Kontrollieren, ob die Bremsscheiben frei zwischen den

Bremssätteln laufen, dann den Bremshebel mehrmals

betätigen um die Bremssattelkolben in ihre normale

Position zu bringen.
