Arresto
Chiudere il gas, agire sulle leve comando freni e solo
quando si è quasi fermi tirare a fondo la leva della
frizione. Questa manovra va eseguita con molta coordi-
nazione per mantenere il controllo del motociclo.
Per una riduzione normale di velocità con l’uso appro-
priato del cambio, utilizzare il freno motore facendo
attenzione a non mandare fuori giri il motore.
Su strade bagnate e sdrucciolevoli, fare attenzione
all’uso dei freni e particolarmente all’uso del freno ante-
riore.
Per fermare il motore, portare la chiave del commutato-
re in posizione OFF « » (vedere fig. 3).
Stopping the motorcycle
Close the throttle and use the brakes; just as the vehicle
is about to stop disengage the clutch. These three
operations should be carefully coordinated to maintain
full control of the vehicle.
When slowing down in normal conditions, use the gear-
box to provide engine braking to slow the vehicle; take
care not to over-reving the engine. Use the brakes
(especially the front brake) with particular care when
roads are slippery or wet.
To stop the engine, turn the ignition switch till the
position OFF « » (see fig. 3).
Parcheggio
Per soste in strade non sufficientemente illuminate, è
necessario lasciare accese le luci di parcheggio.
Occorre portare la chiave del commutatore, in posizione
P « » (vedere fig. 3) e l’interruttore luci «A» di fig. 5 in
posizione « »; indi sfilare la chiave dal commutatore.
IMPORTANTE
Non lasciate l'interruttore su « » per tempi
troppo lunghi, diversamente la batteria si scariche-
rà.
Parking
On badly lit roads, leave the parking lights on.
Turn the key switch to position P « » (see figure 3),
and the light switch «A» in fig. 5 to position « »; and
remove the key from the switch.
IMPORTANT
Do not leave the switch to « » for long
periods or the battery will run down.
