SINTEF NBL raadt de volgende afstanden tot metselwerk aan:
3112 tot zijwand 400 mm en 200 mm tot achterwand.
3142 tot zijwand 400 mm en 100 mm tot achterwand.
De vloer
Wanneer de kachel op een brandbare vloer is geïnstalleerd, moet u de landelijke en plaatse-
lijke voorschriften naleven met betrekking tot de afmetingen van de niet-brandbare onderlaag
die de vloer onder de kachel moet bedekken. De onderlaag moet uiteraard in staat zijn om
het gewicht van de kachel en, indien van toepassing, de stalen schoorsteen te dragen.
Afstand tot het meubilair
Wij raden u aan om de kachel op 800 mm afstand van het meubilair te installeren, maar houdt
u er bij het bepalen van de afstand ook rekening mee dat meubelen e.d. zullen uitdrogen
als ze in de buurt van de kachel staan. De afstand tot brandbare materialen voor de kachel
bedraagt 800 mm. Een houtkachel wordt warm als deze brandt. Neem daarotm de nodige
voorzorgsmaatregelen, in het bijzonder om te voorkomen dat kinderen de kachel aanraken.
De kachel is voorzien van een afneembare roestvrij stalen handgreep, waardoor u altijd een
koude handgreep hebt als de kachel in gebruik is. Wanneer de handgreep verwijderd is, is de
kachel ook veiliger voor kinderen.
