Chopping

Take care:

x Ensure that the food processor blade is assembled in the bowl before you start to add the

ingredients.

x Do not let the device run too long when you chop (hard) cheese or chocolate. Otherwise

these ingredients become too hot, start to melt and turn lumpy.

x Do not use the blade unit to chop very hard ingredients such as coffee beans, nutmeg,

turmeric and ice cubes. This may cause the blade to become blunt.

Use and tips:

x Chopping onions: use the pulse function a few times to prevent the onions from becoming

too finely chopped.

x If ingredients stick to the wall of the blender jar:

o Switch off the device and unplug it.

o Remove the lid and use a spatula to remove the ingredients from the wall of the

blender jar.

o Keep the spatula at a safe distance from the blades.
