8. Never pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket; instead, hold the plug and
gently pull to disconnect.
9. Do not pull or carry the device by its power cord and do not use the power cord as a handle. Do

15. Do not touch the device or the plug with wet hands. Do not operate the device without
wearing shoes.
16. Do not use any accessories that are not recommended by the supplier; especially those
accessories that have not been supplied with the device.
17. Never use the device in rooms where certain vapors may be present (thinner, combustible
materials, paint and lacquers on an oil basis, combustible liquids and gases). Risk of explosion.
18. Do not use the device on stairs.
19. Always check whether the water tank is intact and whether it has been mounted on the device in
the proper manner.
20. This device is only intended for domestic use, NOT for industrial use.
21. Damage caused by improper use of steam on objects, materials, persons and/or animals or by
not observing the instructions in these directions for use is excluded from guarantee.
Steam function
Warning:
The power and heat of the steam may have adverse consequences for certain
materials. Always check, before putting the device into operation, whether a
surface or material is actually suitable for treatment with steam. Do this by
executing a test on a hidden surface of the material you wish to treat.
1. The force and heat of the steam may damage certain materials. Some fabrics may react to the
temperature of the steam. For example: unpainted wood or leather can be bleached by the
action of steam. Shining plastic materials may become dull by treatment with steam. Acrylic
fiber, velvet and linen react very sensitively to the temperature of steam.
2. Do NOT use the device on unpainted floors or waxed floors.
3. Do not keep the device too long on one spot! This can cause damage to materials!
4. Burns can occur from touching hot parts, hot water or steam. Be cautious when draining the
device after use as there may be hot water in the device.
5. The device heats up during operation, therefore only touch handle or buttons.
6. Never directly steam towards people, animals or plants.
7. Do not apply steam directly to very cold glass surfaces, electric devices or at parts containing
electrical components such as the electrical components inside an oven.
8. Ensure that the device does not operate on an empty water tank.
9. Do not fill the water tank with more than 350 ml of water. Overfilling may result in a possible
electrical shock.
10. Never remove the water tank while using the device. Always take the plug out of the socket
before you refill or empty the water tank.
11. Do not add cleaning solutions, scented perfumes, oils or any other chemicals to the water used in
this device, as this may damage the device or make it unsafe for use.
