Automatic cleaning fi lter (continued)
How to clean the automatic cleaning fi lter
Check the amount of dust through the dust check
window of the fi lter cover and clean it, if necessary.
Before cleaning the fi lter, be sure to turn off the main
power switch of the projector and unplug the power
cord from the outlet.
When the dust box of the automatic cleaning fi lter
is fi lled up with dust, the cleaning ability decreases.
If you use the projector in such a state, the fi lter is
covered by the dust and the temperature inside the
product abnormally rises, damaging the internal
parts and components and affecting the panel’s
lifetime, resulting in a breakdown.
When the temperature inside the projector is
abnormally high, the projector may automatically
turn off and go into the standby mode where the
light source lamps are off to protect the internal
parts and components.
1. Loosen the screw (a) that is securing the fi lter cover
using a Philips screwdriver and remove the fi lter
cover (b) from the projector.
