3. When adjusting the angle of mounting, make sure that the camera’s view is
parallel with the level ground and the ground/sky ratio is close to a 50/50 split.

Using the device mount
U-type mount (Figure 1-A)
O-type mount (Figure 2-B)
Install your Mio on the motorcycle or helmet by using the
provided device mount.
Using the charging cable
USB charging cable (Figure 2-A)
5V USB waterproof charging cable (Figure 2-B)
You should fully charge the battery before you start using
it for the very rst time. To charge the battery, plug the
provided charging cable into the Micro-USB connector on
your Mio and the other end into a power source (5V DC /
2A; not provided).
Using the power cable
12V waterproof power cable (Figure 2-C)
Check and conrm the motorcycle wire by using the
electricity tester.
Connect the red wire (ACC) of the power cable to the
motorcycle wire from which the power is not supplied
when the motorcycle is turned off.
The black wire (GND) must be connected to the metal
part of the motorcycle for grounding. If not grounded, this
product may not work properly. You can use a screw to
attach the black wire to the motorcycle (try to nd a screw
hole on any metal part).
Using the rear camera kit
Rear camera with 12V waterproof power cable (Figure
2-D)
Rear camera with 5V USB charging cable (Figure 2-E)
Follow the previous instructions to connect the power
cable / charging cable, and then connect the rear camera.
Installing the ferrite cores
Depending on your model, ferrite cores may be provided
to eliminate electromagnetic interference. Follow the
instructions (Figure 2-F) to install the ferrite cores on the
rear camera cable.
