USING THE BUILT-IN FLASH

Light reflecting from your subjects eyes may produce the
effect known as red-eye. Use the built-in flash’s red-eye-
reduction mode to produce more natural looking photographs
by reducing the red-eye effect.
1. Open the control-panel
door.
2. Press the red-eye-
reduction button until
appears in the data panel.
Red-Eye Reduction
• Warn your subject that the flash will fire a few short flash bursts
just before the picture is taken.
• To cancel, press the red-eye-reduction button until (and
WL) disappears from the data panel.
This camera automatically rewinds the film into the cassette
after the last exposure.
1. Wait for the film to completely
rewind into the cassette.
• The frame counter will count down
during rewind.
• 0 will appear and the will blink in the
data panel when the film is rewound.

2. Press the film-chamber
release to open the film-
chamber door.
3. Remove the film.
• The VEI display will be ✖.
Use manual rewind to rewind the film before the current roll is
finished.
1. Open the control-panel
door and press the
manual-rewind button.
2. Follow steps 1-3 from
Automatic Rewind.
