VERBINDING MET WINDOWS 98/98 SECOND EDITION
De driver hoeft maar eenmaal te worden geïnstalleerd. Hij kan automatisch worden geïnstalleerd,
met de DiMAGE installer, of handmatig met de wizard voor nieuwe hardware van het
besturingssysteem. Tijdens de installatie vraagt het besturingssysteem om de Windows 98 CD-
ROM; plaats die in de CD-ROM drive en volg de verdere instructies op het scherm. Voor andere
Windows besturingssystemen is geen speciale driver-software nodig.
Automatische installatie
Voordat u de camera op de computer
aansluit dient u de Digital Camera
Software CD-ROM in de CD-ROM drive te
plaatsen. Het Digital Camera Software
installatieprogramma wordt geopend. Klik
om de Windows 98 USB driver
automatisch te installeren op de knop”
Install the Windows 98 USB mass-storage
driver”. Er verschijnt een venster dat
bevestigt dat de driver dient te worden
geïnstalleerd; klik op “Yes” om verder te
gaan.
Als de driver goed is geïnstalleerd
verschijnt een melding. Klik dan op “OK”.
Herstart de computer voordat u de
camera aansluit (zie blz. 115).
Kies de aanbevolen optie voor het zoeken naar een
geschikt stuurprogramma. Klik op Volgende.
Kies de optie waarbij u zelf een locatie voor de driver op-
geeft. U kunt het bladervenster gebruiken om de locatie op
te geven. De driver is te vinden in de CD-ROM drive onder
:\Win98\USB. Wordt de driver-locatie weergegeven, klik
dan op Volgende.
Handmatige installatie
Wilt u de Windows 98 driver handmatig installeren, volg
dan eerst de instructies voor het aansluiten van de camera
op de computer op blz 115.
Wanneer de camera op de computer is aangesloten merkt
het besturingssysteem dat er nieuwe hardware is aan-
gesloten en de wizard voor nieuwe hardware wordt
geopend. Plaats de Digital Camera Software CD-ROM in
de CD-ROM drive. Klik op Volgende.
