De toets voor de informatieweergave regelt wat de LCD-monitor laat zien. Elke keer dat u op de toets

drukt wordt een volgende weergave-optie geactiveerd: u kunt kiezen tussen complete weergave,

alleen beeld, monitor uit. Wordt de weergavetoets ingedrukt en ingedrukt gehouden, dan verschijnt

het scherm voor aanpassing van de LCD-helderheid (blz. 45).

U kunt het stroomverbruik van de camera verminderen door de LCD-monitor uit te schakelen en de

beelduitsnede via de zoeker te bepalen. Om parallaxfouten te vermijden dient u de LCD-monitor te

blijven gebruiken voor onderwerpen op 1 m afstand (zoomobjectief in groothoekstand), of 3 m

(zoomobjectief in de telestand). Drukt u op de flitstoets of op de menutoets, dan gaat de monitor

automatisch aan. De aanduidingen voor batterijconditie en datum in beeld kunnen in de weergave

van alleen live-beeld verschijnen. De digitale zoom is uitgeschakeld en de instellingen voor AF-veld

en de belichtingscorrectie worden vastgezet zolang de monitor uit is. De monitor zal bij audio- of

filmopnamen niet worden uitgeschakeld. Is de LCD-monitor uitgeschakeld, dan zal hij bij directe

weergave na de opname even aan gaan om de opname te laten zien. Is auto reset actief, dan wordt

de LCD-monitor na uitschakeling van de camera teruggezet op complete weergave.
