In deze stand maakt de camera een belichtingstrapje van drie opnamen. Elke
opname wordt met een iets andere belichting gemaakt, zodat later de beste kan
worden uitgekozen. Belichtingstrapjes zijn alleen geschikt voor statische
onderwerpen. De bracketing-stand wordt met de transport-toets ingesteld. In de
stand superfijn (blz. 41) is bracketing niet mogelijk.
De volgorde van de bracketing-reeks is: normale belichting, onderbelichting en
overbelichting. In de automatische opnamestand is het verschil tussen de
opnamen 0,5 LW (lichtwaarde); de multifunctionele opnamestand kan deze
stapwaarde worden ingesteld op 0,3, 0,5 of 1.0 LW (blz. 50)
Bereid de opname voor zoals is uitgelegd bij de basishandelingen voor de opname
(blz. 23). Druk de ontspanknop half in (1) om belichting en scherpstelling voor de
bracketing-serie te vergrendelen. Druk de ontspanknop in en houd hem helemaal
ingedrukt (2) om de bracketing-reeks te maken: er worden drie opeenvolgende
opnamen gemaakt. Is de CompactFlash kaart vol of wordt de ontspanknop
losgelaten voordat de serie is voltooid, dan wordt de camera teruggesteld en moet
de gehele serie opnieuw worden gemaakt. Gebruikt u flitslicht, dan is er een
vertraging tussen de opnamen wegens het laden van de flitser. Het resterende
aantal opnamen van de bracketing-reeks wordt op de monitor naast het
bracketing-symbool weergegeven.
Bij gebruik van de belichtingscorrectie (blz. 46) wordt de bracketing-serie gemaakt
in relatie tot de gecorrigeerde belichting. Onder extreme lichtomstandigheden
kunnen bracketing-belichtingen onnauwkeurig worden vanwege het feit dat ze
buiten het regelbereik van de camera vallen.
