MULTIFUNCTIONELE OPNAMESTAND
De camera beschikt over automatische en handmatige scherpstelling. De scherpstelmethode wordt
ingesteld in de custom 1 sectie van het multifunctionele opname-menu (blz. 56).
Autofocus geeft in bijna elke situatie perfecte resultaten. Er zijn echter omstandigheden waaronder
het autofocus-systeem niet optimaal werkt; kijk daarvoor bij de speciale scherpstelsituaties op blz.
27. In die gevallen kan de camera met de hand worden scherpgesteld.
Scherpstelstanden
Enkelvoudige AF
Subject Tracking AF
Bij enkelvoudige autofocus (Single-shot AF) stel de camera scherp op het onderwerp en vergrendelt
hij de scherpstelling. Deze methode is ideaal voor statische onderwerpen. Omdat de scherpstelling
wordt vergrendeld wanneer u de ontspanknop half indrukt, kunt u enkelvoudige AF goed gebruiken
wanneer het onderwerp zich buiten het scherpstelveld bevindt, of wanneer zich een situatie voordoet
waarin de camera niet kan scherpstellen. Meer info over scherpstelvergrendeling vindt u op blz. 51.
Scherpstelveldselectie (blz.50) en de zelfontspanner (blz. 42) maken gebruik van enkelvoudige AF.
Plaats het onderwerp binnen het Area AF scherpstelveld en druk de ontspanknop half in; Subject
Tracking AF vergrendelt op het onderwerp en volgt de bewegingen van het onderwerp in de driedi-
mensionale ruimte binnen het scherpstelveld. Met een stilstaande camera is Subject Tracking AF in
staat een onderwerp te volgen dat zich met een snelheid van circa 14,5 km/u naar of vanaf de came-
ra verplaatst en 5,4 km/u naar links of rechts door het beeld verplaatst, op 3,5 m in de groothoek-
stand, op 10 m in de telestand. 14,5 km/u is de snelheid van een rennend kind, 5.4 km/u is een pittig
wandeltempo. In de automatisch opnamestand is dit de primaire scherpstelmethode.
Bij zeer weinig licht wordt Subject Tracking AF automatisch overgeschakeld op enkelvoudige AF.
Enkelvoudige AF wordt gebruikt met scherpstelveldselectie (blz. 50), de zelfontspannerinstelling (blz.
42) en de digitale zoom, plus wanneer de lcd-monitor is uitgeschakeld (blz. 31).
