- Before using the product for the first
time, clean the parts that will come
into contact with food in the manner
described in the cleaning section.
- WARNING: Do not use without tank
properly positioned. As described in
section of assembly the tank.
Assembling the tank: (Fig. 1)
- For transport the tank comes
dismantled.
- Unscrew the tank anchor fitting.
- Fit the tank on top of the chuck
- Position the anchor fitting again and
screw on.
Grinding selector:
- The suitable grinding size depends
on the characteristics of the bean,
humidity and toast. Not all types of
coffee have the same characteristics.
It recommendable to do a trial run
with each coffee batch and if neces-
sary adjust the grinding size.
- Start the motor.
- To select the finest degree of
grinding, turn the regulator control
clockwise.
- To select the coarser degree of
grinding, turn the regulator control
anticlockwise.
Use:
- Unroll the cable completely before
plugging it in.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Open the cover.
- Fill the tank with coffee beans.
- Place the filter holder under ground
coffee outlet, supporting it on the
bracket (E) and using this to press on
the push-button (F).
- The quantity of ground coffee will
depend on the time you keep the
push-button pressed.
Once you have finished using the
appliance:
- Unplug the appliance to the mains.
- Clean the appliance
Cleaning
Disconnect the appliance from the
mains and let it cool before underta-
king any cleaning task.
- Clean the equipment with a damp
cloth with a few drops of washing-up
liquid and then dry.
- Do not use solvents, or products
with an acid or base pH such as blea-
ch, or abrasive products, for cleaning
the appliance.
- Do not submerge the appliance in
water or any other liquid, or place it
under a running tap.
- It is advisable to clean the applian-
ce regularly and remove any food
remains.
Anomalies and repair
- Take the appliance to an authorised
technical support service if problems
arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair
without assistance, as this may be
dangerous.
- If the connection to the mains has
been damaged, it must be replaced
and you should proceed as you would
in the case of damage.
