• Position 1: rocking and transport use (10).
• Position 2: car use (10).
• Position 3: reclined use (10).
Installing the seat in the vehicle
CAUTION! DO NOT INSTALL YOUR GROUP 0+ ON THE FRONT SEAT OF A VEHICLE
EQUIPPED WITH AN AIRBAG. Always position your Group 0+ car seat and its base facing
backwards.
Position the base of the car seat on the passenger seat or on the back seat of the vehicle.
Pull and fasten the safety belt and then pull the lap belt into the lateral guides in the base
(11). Pull the lap belt tight.
Pull on the shoulder strap and feed this strap into the guide on the rear of the base (12).
Position the shoulder strap behind the catch in order to simplify fitting the Group 0+ seat
onto the base (13).
Install the Group 0+ car seat onto the base. Start by inserting the Group 0+ car seat on the
side with the blue lateral guides (14) then tip the seat and attach the Group 0+ car seat on
the side of the base release handle (15). You should hear and feel it ‘click’.
Check that the car seat is in contact with the base (16) and is correctly locked in position.
Release the shoulder strap placed behind the catch, pull as tight as possible (17) and block
in the blue guide located on the side of the car seat (18).
Check that the vehicle seat belt is no longer held in position by the catch and is correctly
tensioned, that the belt is not twisted and that the Group 0+ car seat handle is set in position
2 ‘car use’ (19).
Removing the Group 0+ car seat from its base
To remove the Group 0+ car seat from its base, position the shoulder belt under the catch
(20), pull on the red handle located on the rear of the base and simultaneously pull on the
Group 0+ car seat with the ergonomic handle (21).
Reclined use
Your car seat can be used in a reclined position.
Position the car seat handle in position 3 ‘reclined use’. Pull on the upper latches simultane-
ously to release the car seat (22). Press on both sides of the car seat to lock the seat in the
reclined position. You should hear the seat ‘click’ (23).
To return to the seated position, press on the lower latches simultaneously to release the
seat from the reclined position (24) then fold the two parts of the car seat in (25). You will
hear a ‘click’ indicating that the seat is locked in the seated position.
CAUTION! Never switch the seat between the reclined and seated positions when your
baby is present in the seat! Never carry your baby when the car seat is in the reclined
position. Never use the Group 0+ car seat in a vehicle in the reclined position.
WARNING! Never leave your child unsupervised. Never use the seat in the reclined posi-
tion if the child can sit up unassisted. Placing the seat in the reclined position at heights,
