CANALES DE PRIORIDAD (CH 9-19)
Midland 210 DS ha incorporado un interruptor especial que le lleva
directamente al canal 9 ó 19. El canal 9 es sólo para comunicaciones
de emergencia. El canal 19 lo usan normalmente los camioneros para
transmitir información sobre las condiciones de tráfico, carreteras, etc.
Desplace el interruptor hacia la posición central para volver al canal pre-
viamente seleccionado.
SQUELCH
elimina el molesto ruido de fondo cuando no se está recibiendo ninguna
señal. Para ello, escoja un canal donde no haya señal o espere a que cese
la señal en su canal.
Midland 210 DS se suministra con dos tipos de Squelch: manual y au-
tomático.
Manual: gire el mando de Squelch en sentido horario hasta que oiga un
“clic”, siga girando en ese sentido hasta que deje de oir el ruido de fondo.
No ajuste el Squelch demasiado alto, si no las señales débiles no serán
escuchadas.
Automático: gire totalmente el mando del Squelch en sentido contrario
a las ahujas del reloj hasta después de oir un “clic”. Ahora el Squelch se
ajusta automáticamente en función del ruído de fondo.
ALTAVOZ EXTERIOR
Conecte un altavoz de 8 ohmios (entre 3 y 10 W) a la toma EXT SPKR si-
tuada en la parte posterior del transceptor. Cuando el altavoz exterior
está conectado, el interno se desconecta automáticamente. Usted puede
monitorizar todas las señales entrantes a través del altavoz exterior.
