5.5. Mittausvaiheet

Kun mansetti on asianmukaisesti asetettu ja paineen esivalinnan asetus on tehty, mittaus voi alkaa:

a) Käynnistä laite painamalla O/I-painikkeesta

b) Paina START-painiketta, – pumppu alkaa täyttää

mansettia. Näyttöruutu osoittaa kohoavan mansetti-

paineen lukemat.

c) Inflaatiopaineen saavutettuaan pumppu pysähtyy ja

paine alenee hitaasti. Mansettipainearvot (isot

numerot) näkyvät näytössä mittauksen aikana.

d) Kun laite on löytänyt pulssin, näyttöruudun sydänsym-

boli alkaa vilkkua, ja joka valtimonlyönnin tahdissa

kuuluu äänimerkki.

e) Kun mittaus on päättynyt, kuuluu pitkä äänimerkki.

Mitatut systoliset ja diastoliset verenpainearvot sekä

pulssi ilmestyvät näyttöön. (Ylöspäin osoittava nuoli

kertoo, että ruudussa näkyy systolinen- ja diastolinen

paine. Vastaavasti alaspäin osoittava nuoli kertoo, että

ruudussa on pulssin lukema.)

f) Mittaustulokset jäävät näkyviin, kunnes laite kytketään

pois päältä. Jos yhtäkään painiketta ei paineta 5 minu-

uttiin, laite kytkeytyy pois päältä automaattisesti paris-

toja säästäen.

5.6. Mittauksen keskeytys

Jos verenpaineen mittaus on välttämätöntä keskeyttää

minkä tahansa syyn vuoksi (esim. potilas voi huonosti),

O/I-painiketta voi painaa milloin tahansa. Laite vähentää

välittömästi mansettipainetta automaattisesti.

5.7. Muisti – viimeisen mittauksen muistitallennus

Verenpainemittari tallentaa automaattisesti viimeisen

mittauskerran arvon. MEMORY-painiketta painamalla

viimeksi mitattu tulos voidaan tuoda näytölle.
