Regular descaling will prolongate the life of your coffee machine and will guarantee optimal
brewing results for a long time. If the machine is used twice a day on average, it must be
descaled once every 2 months. Use a liquid citric based acid descaler and follow the instructions
in the package of the descaler. The guarantee is not valid for defects caused by lime deposits.
1. Fill the water reservoir up with a mixture of descaler and water. Then place the water
reservoir back into the coffee machine.
2. Open the lid and put a used coffee pad in the pad holder. Close the lid . (use of a
used coffee pad in the pad holder is recommended for descaling as it will serve as a
„filter“ to prevent the sieve in the pad holder from getting clogged with scale residues.)
3. Place a large bowl under the brewing head and another bowl under the steam valve.
4. Turn the power to “ON” position.
5. Rotate the control panel to brew , run through about 1/3 of the liquid immediately.
6. Now rotate the control panel to steam and allow the solution come through the steam
wand/arm for about 2 minutes.
7. Rotate from steam to brew and back let the liquid run through several times.
8. To finish press power OFF button.
9. Remove and empty the water container and the bowls under the brewing head and
steam wand/arm.
10. Clean the water reservoir and fill in fresh water: Place it back into the machine.
11. Repeat 2 times cleaning the machine only with fresh water without descaler and
without coffee pad

Always turn machine off and unplug before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance into water or other liquid.
Clean the outside of the machine with a moist cloth.
Remove the grid and drip tray at regular intervals to empty water. Clean the drip tray and its
grid with water and a little non-abrasive washing up liquid rinse and dry.
The filter should be washed after each use by rinsing with warm water. Wash at regular
intervals in warm soapy water using a mild detergent.
Clean the brewing head with a damp cloth wiping the head and around the inside rim. Check
if the sieve is clogged. If necessary you can use a brush or a needle to unclog the sieve.
To assist in keeping the filter and the brew head clean at the end of each coffee making
session we recommend to run the machine with the filter in place without coffee using fresh
water only.
Clean the water reservoir in hot water, if necessary with some washing up liquid. If you use
a soft brush, be careful not to damage the valve in the bottom of the water reservoir.
!
After use he lid of the machine should stay open so that rest humidity can evaporate.
