After ironing:
In order to switch-off this iron completely, always unplug the iron from the mains after use.
Empty the water tank. Before storing the iron always let the appliance cool down completely.

Caution! Danger of electrical shock! Never immerse the appliance into water. The
connector parts must not get wet. Contact of electrical parts with moisture causes short
circuit and damage.
• Unplug the appliance after each use and before cleaning, or storing it. Allow the appliance
to cool down completely.
• The appliance is provided with anti-lime-function (see also Anti-Lime function above).
• Lime and fuzz on the sole plate (ensure that it is completely cold!) can be removed with a
soft dry cloth. Never use sharp detergents or abrasive material to clean the plastic housing
or the stain less steel sole plate as it might get damaged. Tip: Use distillate water to fill the
water tank, this avoids calcinations.
• Do not put vinegar or other descaling agents into the water reservoir. Do not use chemically
descaled water.
• Do not wind the cable around the appliance while it is hot.
• Never store the cable before the appliance has cooled down completely.
• Store the appliance in a dry place which is not reachable for small children.

purchase (cash receipt). In case of malfunction you may send the appliance add to your dealer,
information about the malfunction and the original purchase receipt (which is obligatory for a
repair free of charge)
Within the guarantee period we repair defects of the appliance, which are based on material or
manufacturing faults, in our choice by repair or exchange. These obligations do not extend the
period of guarantee. No claim on a new period of guarantee results from it.
An exact description of the complaint reduces the processing time.
