Caution! When you have
finished ironing, when lea-
ving the iron unattended
(even for a short while),
when you clean the appli-
ance or when filling or
emptying the water
reservoir:
Set the temoperature
and the steam control
to position to OFF
(MIN or 0),
Place the iron in
vertical position
Remove the mains
plug from the wall
socket.
Before first use
Remove all plastic bags, stickers and the
protection film from the sole plate.
Place the appliance on a dry, stable,
anti-slip and heat resistant surface.
Unroll the cord completely. Clean the cold
sole plate with a damp cloth.
Some parts of the iron could have been
slightly greased during production and as
a result may smoke slightly for a short time
when switched on for the first time. This will
stop after a while.
How to use and tips
Filling water
Caution, danger of electric shock! Always
unplug before filling (and emptying) the water
tank. Never open the filling opening and never
fill water when appliance is in operation!
While filling water avoid to let water run over
the appliance, to avoid short circuit and danger
of life by electric shock. Always fill water
BEFORE plugging in.
Set the steam control to the OFF position.
Open the cover of water filling mouth, then fill
water up to max. mark indicted on the
transparent water tank. Distilled water can
prolong the lifetime of the iron. close the cover
of the water tank.
Caution! Never leave the iron
unattended when it is connected.
Caution danger of burning! During operation
of electrical caloric appliances, high tempera-
tures, which may cause injuries, are generated
- e. g. by hot steam or the hot sole plate.
Switching on
Always touch the appliance at its handle only
and always be careful while using it. Never
touch the hot sole plate!
Plug into a socket to make the appliance ready
for use.
Ironing
Turn the temperature control toOFFbefore
plugging into the mains socket. Turn the
temperature control to the desired tempera-
ture. Always check first to see whether a label
with ironing instruction is attached to the article
to be ironed.

 wool (medium temperature) silk, wool (medium temperature)
 cotton, linen (high temperature) cotton, linen (high temperature)
The pilot light will light up from time to time.
