Banden vervangen

Het wordt aanbevolen de banden te monteren

volgens de oorspronkelijke specificaties. Vervang

banden NIET door banden van een ander type.

Alternatieve banden, of banden met andere

specificaties, kunnen de rijeigenschappen en -

veiligheid van het voertuig negatief beïnvloeden. Het

wordt aanbevolen contact op te nemen met een

erkende MG-reparateur om te garanderen dat uw

rijervaring en -veiligheid optimaal zijn.

Zorg dat vervangende wielen en banden altijd worden

gebalanceerd voor gebruik.

Wielen roteren

Het wordt afgeraden de wielen van de ene naar de andere kant

of van voor naar achter te verplaatsen om de slijtage gelijkmatig

over de banden te verdelen. Uw voertuig is uitgerust met een

controlesysteem bandenspanning. Dit systeem zorgt dat elk wiel

wordt geprogrammeerd op basis van de relatieve positie.

Als de slijtage-indicator op de band wordt blootgelegd als

gevolg van slijtage, moet de band worden vervangen om het

risico op een ongeluk te vermijden.
