12.6 Adaptation de la focale au format
de l’appareil photo
Cette fonction permet d’adapter la position affichée de la
tête zoom du mecablitz au format de l’appareil photo.
Ceci permet de faire coller les distances focales des
objectifs d’appareils moyen format (4,5x 6, 6x6, 6x7 et
6x9) et des appareils APS avec la valeur affichée sur le
mecablitz. Pour les reflex 35 mm (24x36), on dispose en
plus de la fonction Extended Zoom.
La fonction Extended Zoom a pour effet de réduire la
distance focale du mecablitz d’un cran par rapport à la
focale de l’objectif. Il en résulte une plus grande couver-
ture qui, en intérieur, procure un supplément de lumière
diffuse, donnant ainsi un éclairage plus doux en lumière
flash.
Exemple d’emploi de la fonction Extended Zoom :
L’objectif monté sur le boîtier a une focale fixe de 50
mm. En mode Extended Zoom, le mecablitz positionne sa
tête zoom sur 35 mm.
Procédure de réglage pour adapter la focale au for-
mat de l’appareil photo
• Répéter l’action sur la touche Select jusqu’à faire
apparaître „Zoom“ sur l’écran du flash. Tourner la
molette pour sélectionner l’adaptation voulue entre
focale affichée et format d’appareil photo.

• Après sélection, sauvegarder le réglage en appuyant
sur la molette dans le sens de la flèche. Si l’on n’appu-
ie pas sur la molette, le réglage est sauvegardé auto-
matiquement après 5 s. Ce réglage reste conservé
après la coupure du flash mecablitz.

12.6 Aanpassing van de verlichtingshoek aan
de brandpuntsafstand van het opnamefor-
maat.
Deze functie biedt de gebruiker de mogelijkheid, de aan-
duiding van de stand van de zoomreflector van de meca-
blitz aan het opnameformaat van de camera aan te pas-
sen. Daardoor kunnen de brandpuntsafstanden van
middenformaatcamera’s (4,5 x 6, 6 x 6, 6 x 7, en 6 x 9)
of APS-camera’s met de aanduidingen op de mecablitz
in overeenstemming worden gebracht. Voor het klein-
beeldformaat 35 mm kan bovendien de extended-zoom-
functie worden gekozen.
Bij de extended-zoomfunctie wordt de verlichtingshoek
van de mecablitz ten opzichte van de brandpuntsafstand
van het toegepaste objectief een stap vergroot! De daa-
ruit resulterende, grotere verlichtingshoek zorgt binnens-
huis voor extra strooilicht (reflecties) en daardoor voor
een zachter flitslicht.
Voorbeeld voor de extended-zoomfunctie:
De brandpuntsafstand van het objectief op de camera is
50 mm. In de extended-zoomfunctie stuurt de mecablitz
de reflectorstand op die van 35 mm
Het instellen voor het aanpassen van de verlichtings-
hoek aan de brandpuntsafstand van het opnameformaat:

Druk zo vaak op de Select toets, dat in het display
„Zoom“ verschijnt. Door het instelwiel te draaien, de
gewenste aanpassing van de aanduiding van de brand-
puntsafstanden van het opnameformaat instellen.
Aanduidingen in het display:
Zoom zonder extra aanduiding = instelling voor klein-
beeldformaat (= normale instelling)
