When swivelling the reflector ensure that no direct
light from the reflector reaches the subject.
Tilting the reflector
Hold the mecablitz tightly with one hand and use the
other hand to tilt the reflector upward until the desi-
red position is reached.
Flash ranges are not indicated if the reflector is
tilted.
Autofocus measuring flash
The integrated AF red-light beam ᕅ of the meca-
blitz supports the automatic focusing of autofocus
TTL cameras. When the prevailing light is insuffi-
cient for automatic focusing, the mecablitz will pro-
ject a pattern of red vertical stripes onto the subject
as soon as the camera’s release is lightly touched.
The camera’s autofocus system then focuses the
picture by this striped pattern.

cientes, entonces el mecablitz, con el disparador de
la cámara pulsado, proyecta una tira de muestra
roja vertical sobre el objeto a fotografiar. Sobre esta
tira de muestra el autofoco de la cámara enfoca nít-
idamente la foto.
