Der mecablitz erhält seine Informationen aus-
schließlich von einer TTL-gesteuerten Kamera.
Im TTL-Betrieb wird die Belichtungsmessung von
einem Sensor in der Kamera vorgenommen. Dieser
mißt das durchs Objektiv auf den Film auftreffende
Licht (TTL = Through The Lens). Bei Erreichen der
erforderlichen Lichtmenge schaltet die Kameraelek-
tronik den Blitz ab. Der Vorteil dieses Blitzbetriebs
liegt darin, daß alle die Belichtung beeinflußenden
Faktoren (z. B. Filter, Blenden- und Brennweiten
veränderungen bei Zoomobjektiven) berücksichtigt
werden. Sie brauchen sich nicht um die Blitz-
einstellung kümmern, die Kameraelektronik
sorgt automatisch für die richtige Blitzlichtdosierung.
Außerdem können Sie auch verschiedene Meß
me-
thoden nützen (z.B. Spotmessung, Matrixmessung
,
mittenbetonte Integralmessung), die einige Kameras
anbieten.
Die maximale Reichweite für die gewählte Blende
können Sie am Blendenrechner ablesen Der
Mindestbeleuchtungsabstand beträgt ca. 15 % der
maximalen Grenzreichweite.
Wird der Mindestbeleuchtungsabstand
unterschritten, so kann es zu Überbelichtungen
kommen.
Im TTL-Blitzbetrieb muß auch für Versuche auf jeden
Fall ein Stück Film in der Kamera eingelegt sein.
Wollen Sie die Blitzreichweite anhand der
Belichtungs-o.k.-Anzeige überprüfen, ist das nur
durch Auslösen an der Kamera und nicht mit dem
Handauslöser am Blitz möglich!
