blinks: Switch on the flash (on some cameras)
illuminated: The flash is ready for use (on some
cameras)
Please refer to your camera’s operating instruc-
tions to find out if this applies to your camera
model.
Some cameras feature an incorrect exposure
warning facility: A blinking stop value or
shutter speed setting, or when both displays
are blinking, indicates that the shot was either
underexposed or overexposed
In the event of incorrect exposure:
• With overexposure: Do not flash!
• With underexposure: Activate the flash or use a
tripod and set a slower shutter speed!
There can be different reasons for incorrect exposures
within the different exposure and auto programs.
Please refer to the camera’s operating instructions to
establish whatever applies to your camera.
