Battery charger LC 60:
Automatic balancing of the individual battery
cells permits optimum utilisation of the available
capacity and, at the same time, lengthens the
service life of the battery pack.
PowerCutter...:
Check Quick stop:
Switch machine on briefly and then off again. Have
the machine repaired if braking time is clearly
lengthened.
Charge the battery pack before use (4).
Battery charger LC 60:
Before plugging in, check to see that the
rated mains voltage and mains frequency, as
specified on the rating label, match your power
supply.
Self-test
Insert the mains plug. The warning display (14) and
the operating display (15) light up in succession for
approx. 1 second.
8.1 Battery pack
Removing battery pack:
Press the battery pack release (3) and remove
the battery pack (4).
Inserting battery pack:
Push in battery pack (4) until it engages.
8.2 Switching On and Off
Switching on
(safety operation):
Push the switch lock (6) in the direction of the
arrow and press the trigger switch (5).
To switch off:
Release the actuated trigger switch (5).
Thanks to the patented Quick stop, the cutting
blades come to a standstill within approx. 0.3
seconds.
Have the machine repaired if braking time is
clearly lengthened.
The noise that sometimes occurs during a
machine Quick stop is design-related and has no
influence on operation and service life.
8.3 Replacing cutting blades
Replace cutting blades (10) (or turn then over) if
they are blunt or damaged.
Never check the sharpness of the cutting
blades with your fingers. The cutting blades
are blunt if the cut twigs or leaves are chapped or
frayed.
Remove the battery pack (4) from the
machine to prevent accidental activation.
Danger of injury from the sharp edges of the
blades. Do not touch the cutting blade (10)
and upper cutting blade (11). Wear protective
gloves.

with a sufficiently
long wooden rod (or non-ferrous metal rod)
to prevent rotation (do not block or hold
with your fingers or hand).

using a hexagon spanner (8) by turning
counterclockwise (right-hand thread).
5 Remove wooden rod (or non-ferrous metal
rod).
