How to configure a static DHCP lease:
Select the device you want to assign the static IP address to from the “Devices” dropdown list or
input the MAC address of the device that you want to assign the static IP address to, and then
assign an IP for this device. It is highly recommended that the static IP address you assign is
included in the DHCP IP address pool.
12.5 Set Up a Dynamic DNS Service Account
Dynamic DNS (DDNS) is a service that updates a dynamic IP address to a fixed domain name.
DDNS service enables you to access your home computer from anywhere in the world and allows
anyone hosting a web or FTP server advertise a public name to prospective users. Most
broadband operators only provide dynamic IP addresses. DDNS can capture the IP address
changes then associates it with the domain name.
The M2 (Queen) provides with a passthrough to the DDNS service by DynDNS and Oray. As a
result, you will need to buy a DDNS service provided by either of these two operators and enter
account information in the DDNS section.
You can access the DDNS configuration through the Mercku App or Portal.
