WARNING Risk of accident due to mis‐
judgment of distances when using the
passenger mirror
The outside mirror on the front-passenger
side reflects objects on a smaller scale. The
objects in view are in fact closer than they
appear.
As a result, you may misjudge the distance
between you and the road user driving
behind you, for example, when changing
lanes.

Therefore, always look over your shoul‐
der in order to ensure that you are
aware of the actual distance between
you and the road users driving behind
you.

To fold in or out: briefly press button 2.
#
To set: press button 1 or 3 to select the
outside mirror to be adjusted.
#
Press button 4 to adjust the position of the
mirror glass.

If the battery has been disconnected or com‐
pletely discharged, you will have to reset the
outside mirrors. Only then will the automatic
mirror folding function work properly.

To adjust: briefly press button 2.
An outside mirror that has been pushed out of
position can be engaged in position again as fol‐
lows:

Press and hold button 2.
You will hear a click and the mirror will audi‐
bly engage in position. The outside mirror will
now be set to the correct position.

WARNING Risk of acid burns and poi‐
soning due to the anti-glare mirror elec‐
trolyte
Electrolyte may escape if the glass in an
automatic anti-glare mirror breaks.
The electrolyte is hazardous to health and
causes irritation. It must not come into con‐
tact with your skin, eyes, respiratory organs
or clothing or be swallowed.
