Option 1: search for an address book entry
and selectitfrom the listusing the
9: buttons (Y page 109).

Select Options using the ; button and
press the 9 button to confirm.

Select Change
and press the 9 button to
confirm.

Option 2: call up the detailed view for an
address book entry (Y page 110).
X
Select Options using the ; button and
press the 9 button to confirm.
X
Select Change Entry and press the 9
button to confirm.
Irrespective of the option, the input menu
containing data fields appears.

Proceed as described under "Entering
characters" in the "Entering characters in
the address and phone books" section
(Y page 23).
Changing the category of a telephone
number data field

Display the detailed view for an address
book entry (Y page 110) and highlight the
telephone number data field.
X
Select Options using the ; button and
press the 9 button to confirm.

Select Change Category and press the
9 button to confirm.
X
Select a number category, e.g. Home.
X
Select a telephone category, e.g. Mobile
Phone.
X
Select Preferred if desired and press the
9 button to confirm.
Depending on the previous state, switch
the option on O or off ª.The phone
number is displayed as the first number in
the phone book and can be dialed
immediately.

Select Save
and press 9 to confirm.
The new category is stored.
