restraint systems in the "Universal" category.
These child restraint systems must also be
secured using TopTether or support points.
Observe the suitability of vehicle seats
Depending on the approval category, there are
forward-facing and rearward-facing child
restraint systems. Their use can be restricted for
certain vehicle seats:

attaching ISOFIX child restraint systems
ISOFIX is a standardised securing system for
specially designed restraint systems.
®The symbol indicates seats suitable for
attaching an ISOFIX child restraint system
in accordance with UN R44 (/page 57).
Attach only child restraint systems that
are approved in accordance with UN R44
as per thefollowing ISOFIX tables.
