• Securetheshackleusingthewing
nuts supplied and tighten securely.
• Repeatthisprocedurewiththe
other metal bar at the other end of
the appliance.
• Placetheapplianceonitswheels
and check that it can be moved
around without problem.
USING THE APPLIANCE
Assemblybeforeuse:
• Placetheapplianceintheroomto
be heated.
o Position it in a place where it
will not get in the way of doors
etc.
o Observe the guidelines under
ImportantSafetyPrecautions.
• Pluginandswitchonthepower.
Use
• Checkthatthethermostat(2)isin
the lowest position.
• Switchontheon/offbuttons(1).
o Ifbutton1lights,theappliance
willrunat600W.
o IfbuttonIIlights,theappliance
willrunat900W.
o Ifbothbuttonslight,the
appliancewillrunat1,500W.
• Turnthethermostattothe
temperature setting required.
The heating ribs will activate
and deactivate automatically to
maintain the temperature set.
• Iftheappliancegetstoohotduring
use, the overheating protection
will activate automatically. Remove
plug from the mains socket, and
allow the appliance to cool down
before using again.
• Donotmovetheapplianceduring
use.
After use
• Alwaysturnofftheapplianceusing
the on/off button, and unplug it,
whenyouarenishedwithit.
o Please note: The heating ribs
arelledwithoilandtakea
long time to cool after use.
o Usethehandle(3)ifmoving
the appliance just after use.
Do not touch the heating ribs.
STORAGE
• Ensuretheapplianceiscompletely
cool before storage.
• Storetheapplianceinacleanand
dry place.
• Donotplaceheavyobjectsontop
of the appliance.
• Thecordmustnotbetwistedor
wound around the appliance. Use
the cord storage instead (6).
CLEANING
Whencleaningtheappliance,you
should pay attention to the following:
• Removetheplugfromthemains
socket, and allow the appliance
to cool down completely before
cleaning it.
• Neversubmergetheappliance
in water and make sure no water
enters the appliance.
• Cleantheappliancebywiping
itwithadampcloth.Alittle
detergent can be added if the
appliance is heavily soiled.
• Donotusescouringpads,steel
wool or any form of strong solvents
or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the appliance, as they can
damagetheexternalsurfacesof
the appliance.
