PREPARING THE APPLIANCE
Eachindividualapplianceischeckedatthefactorybut,for
safety’s sake, after unpacking, check carefully that your
appliance has not been damaged during transport.
• Checkwhetherthereisanyvisibledamage(e.g.inthe
form of dents or similar), if the door closes properly,
and if the hinges are in order.
• Iftheapplianceappearstohavebeendamaged,
contacttheshopwhereyouboughtit,anddonotuse
it until it has been checked by an authorised specialist.
• Beforeuse,checkthatyouhaveremovedalltransport
packaging inside and out.
Positioning the appliance
• Theappliancemuststandona
atsurfacecapableofbearing
itsweight(approx11kg).
• Theapplianceisnotsuitablefor
built-intting.Theremustbea
clearance of at least 10 cm at
therear,5cmatthesidesand
20cmabovetoensuresufcientventilation.Asuitable
distancefromthewallcanbeensuredbyttingthe
plastic spacer supplied (see photo on right).
• Checkthattheventholesinthecabinetarenot
covered.Iftheyarecoveredwhiletheapplianceis
in use, there is a risk of overheating. Do not use the
applianceuntilithascooleddown.
• Donotremovetherubberfeet.
Connection
• Theappliancemustbeconnectedtoa230-voltAC
current,50Hz.
o Theguaranteeisnotvalidiftheapplianceis
connectedtothewrongvoltage.
• Whentheapplianceisconnectedtothemains,all
thesymbolsonthedisplay(8)willashthreetimes,a
beepwillsoundandthenthedisplaywillshow”:”.
Setting the clock
1. Pressthe“Preset.Clock”(c)buttononce.display
shows“0:00”.
2. Sethoursbyturningthe“TimeWeight/AutoCooking”
(g)selector,andpress“Preset.Clock”(c).Turnthe
selector once more for minutes.
3. Pressthe“Preset.Clock”buttontocompletethe
setting.
Insertingtheglassturntable
Beforeuse,ensuretheglassturntable(2)iscorrectly
seatedonitsspindle(4)andturningring(3).Thethree
dowelsontheglassturntableshouldtinbetween
thethreedowelsonthespindle.Thethreerollerson
the turning ring should run in the circular track on the
underside of the glass turntable.
Before using for the rst time
Asmallamountofsmokeandsmellmaybeemittedwhen
theapplianceisusedforthersttime.Thisisduetooil
residue from manufacture and is neither abnormal nor
hazardous.Ifthesmelldoesnotwearoffquickly,placea
fewlemonslicesinacupandcooktheminthemicrowave
ovenatfullpowerfor2-3minutes.Thiswilleffectively
disperse the smell.
OPERATING THE APPLIANCE
Basicoperation
1. Openthedoorusingthereleasebutton(6).
2. Place the food to be cooked in the appliance and
close the door.
3. Selectcookingfunctionasdescribedbelowandstart
the appliance.
4. Oncethecookingtimesethaselapsed,theovenwill
switchoffautomatically.3x2beepswillsoundand
thedisplayshows“END”.Theapplianceisnowready
foranewprogram.Ifyoudonotopentheovendoor
orpressthe“Stop.Clear”(e)button,theappliancewill
continue to beep at intervals of 3 minutes.
