Use

Cord and plug
• Donotletthecordhangoutovertheedgeofthe
work surface.
• Checkthatitisnotpossibletopullortripoverthe
cord or any extension cord.
• Keepthecordandapplianceawayfromheat
sources,hotobjects,nakedamesandthehot
parts of the appliance.
• Turnofftheapplianceandremovetheplugfrom
thesocketwhencleaningorwhennotinuse.Avoid
pulling the cord when removing the plug from the
socket. Instead, hold the plug.
• Ensurethatthecordisfullyextended.
• Thecordmustnotbetwistedorwoundaroundthe
appliance.
• Checkregularlythatneithercordnorplugis
damaged and do not use if they are, or if the
appliance has been dropped or damaged in any
other way.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
• Wipetheexteriorsurfacesoftheapplianceandthe
grid for bread rolls with a damp cloth and let the
appliance dry.
• Turnontheapplianceandallowittocompletean
entire toasting cycle without any bread in to remove
any oil residue from manufacture.
USE
1. Plug in and switch on the power.
2. Remove any packaging from the bread before
toasting.
3. Usethegridforbreadrollsifyouwanttotoast
bread rolls, French bread sticks or any type of bread
thatwillnottinthetoasterslots(1).
o Place the grid on top of the appliance so that the
verticalmetalholdertsintothetoaster
openings.
4. Place the bread to be toasted in the toaster slots
oronthegridforbreadrolls.Neverplacebread
directly on top of the appliance.
