Cord and plug
• Keepthecordandapplianceawayfrom
heatsources,hotobjectsandnakedflames.
• Checkthatitisnotpossibletopullortrip
over the cord or any extension cord.
• Switchofftheapplianceandremovethe
plug from the socket when the appliance is
not in use or before cleaning the appliance
orreplacingthelightbulb.Avoidpulling
the cord when removing the plug from the
socket.Instead,holdtheplug.
• Handlelightbulbscarefullyastheymay
splinterandcauseinjuriestoyourhands.
• Ensurethatthecordisfullyextended.
• Thecordmustnotbetwistedorwound
around the appliance.
• Checkregularlyfordamagetoappliance,
cordandplug.Donotuseifanyparts
are damaged or if the appliance has
been dropped or damaged in any way
whatsoever.
• Iftheappliance,cordorplughasbeen
damaged, have the appliance inspected
and if necessary repaired by an authorised
repairer. Never try to repair the appliance
yourself. Please contact the store where
you bought the appliance for repairs under
theguarantee.Unauthorisedrepairsor
