BEFORE USE
1. Make sure there is sufficient ventila-
tion around the appliance.
2. The appliance should not be placed
on a surface made from untreated
wood. Place the appliance on a hori-
zontal, heat-resistant surface.
3. Before initial use, the appliance must
be left on at maximum power for
around 10 minutes to burn off any
production residues. Make sure there
is plenty of ventilation. The appli-
ance may give off a little smoke and
a characteristic odour when you first
switch it on. This is normal and will
soon pass.
USE
1. Place the appliance in the middle of
the table.
2. Cut the meat into small pieces. This
may reduce the cooking time.
3. Switch on the appliance by turning
the temperature switch to the Max
position. The indicator light comes on
and the appliance heats up.

Please note: When using the appli-
ance for the first time, drip a little oil
on the plate surface and then wipe it
off with a dry cloth.
4. Once the grill plate and grill stone
have preheated for about 8 minutes,
you can place your food on the grill
plate and grill stone to begin cooking.
5. You can grill toast, fry eggs or po-
tatoes and many other things in the
pans. Meat can be cooked on the grill
plate and grill stone.
Please note: Always remember to
place a little grease on the pans be-
fore use.
6. Switch off the appliance by turning the
temperature switch to the “0” position
and then unplug it.
CLEANING
1. Unplug the appliance from the mains
and allow it to cool before moving
and/or cleaning it.
2. Never submerge the appliance in
water. Clean the inside and outside
of the casing by wiping it with a soft
well-wrung cloth. Remove any food
residues from the heating elements
with a soft brush.
3. The grill plate, grill stone and pans
can be washed in water. If there are
still spots, it is best to use hot soapy
water. The parts are not dishwasher-
proof.
4. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
sharp objects to clean the parts.
