Verstärkungsfaktor
Mit dem Verstärkungsfaktor rechnet das Instrument die Zeit bis zur Pulsreflexion in Distanz um. Der Wert wird als Quotient aus
der Lichtgeschwindigkeit angezeigt (z. B. 0,66 = 66% der Lichtgeschwindigkeit).
Wenn die exakte Kabellänge bekannt ist und die Reflexion am Kabelende sichtbar ist, kann der exakte Verzögerungsfaktor
bestimmt werden:
Ermitteln Sie die Reflexion am Ende der bekannten Kabellänge, indem Sie am Instrument den kürzest möglichen
sichtbaren Bereich am Kabelende einstellen.
Ermitteln Sie den Start der Reflexion, wie im Abschnitt "Bedienung" dieses Handbuchs beschreiben.
Passen Sie den Verstärkungsfaktor an, bis die richtige Kabellänge gezeigt wird.
Notieren Sie den VF-Wert als künftigen Referenzwert.
Nun kann die Messung der Distanz zum Fehler mit mehr Vertrauen vorgenommen werden. Damit das Instrument die Distanz
zum Kabelfehler akkurat messen kann, muss der Verstärkungsfaktor korrekt sein. Alle Fehler des Verstärkungsfaktors haben
direkte Auswirkungen auf Distanzmessfehler.
