MEDISANA TDP le ofrece cuatro modos de terapia y 100 programas preajus-

tados, cuyos parámetros puede encontrarlos en las tablas a partir de la página

15. En el modo TENS también puede deﬁ nir dos programas, y en el modo EMS,

un programa (véase la página 83).

• Presionando brevemente la tecla ብ “M”, cambie al modo de terapia corres-

pondiente. El modo ajustado

parpadea en el borde izquierdo del área de

la pantalla.

• Presionando brevemente la tecla ቨ “P”, seleccione el programa . Manten-

ga presionada la tecla para aumentar el número de programa con mayor

rapidez.

Para cada programa, en la ﬁ gura ቴ se muestran los puntos de tratamiento

recomendados. En la página 86 encontrará ejemplos de colocación de los elec-

trodos.

El aparato puede generar distintas formas de corriente para las terapias corres-

pondientes. Las mismas se diferencian en impulsos bifásicos y monofásicos.

En los impulsos bifásicos, la corriente circula de un lado a otro de los electro-

dos. En los impulsos monofásicos, la corriente circula en un único sentido.

Monofásico Sólo se utiliza para la estimulación muscular a ba-

jas frecuencias (hasta 40 Hz).

Bifásico corto Se utiliza preferentemente para el alivio del dolor

a altas frecuencias. El área positiva (curva cuadra-

da hacia arriba) y negativa (curva cuadrada hacia

abajo) se suceden sin pausa.

Bifásico largo Se utiliza tanto para el alivio del dolor, a altas fre-

cuencias (a partir de 60 Hz), como para la estimu-

lación muscular, a bajas frecuencias (2 a 40 Hz).

En este caso, el área positiva y negativa del impul-

so están separadas por un tramo.

• Presionando brevemente la tecla ቦ “Memory”, cambie a la forma de impulso

siguiente. La forma de impulso ajustada se muestra como símbolo ቱ en el

área de la pantalla.
