1. Ενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή πατώντας το πλήκτρο START
.
2. Όταν πατήσετε το πλήκτο START
ακούγεται ένας μακρύς χαρακτηριστικός ήχος
και όλες οι ενδείξεις στην οθόνη ανάβουν. Kατόπιν εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη η
τρέχουσα ρυθμισμένη μνήμη (
U1
ή U2). Για να περάσετε από τη μία μνήμη στην άλλη,
πιέζετε το πλήκτρο MEM
. Πιέζοντας το πλήκτρο START
επιβεβαιώνετε την
επιλογή σας. Στην οθόνη εμφανίζονται οι τιμές της τελευταίας μέτρησης. Αν δεν
έχει γίνει καμία μέτρηση, δίπλα στην ένδειξη της ώρας και της ημερομηνίας
εμφανίζονται μόνο μηδενικά.
3. Η συσκευή είναι έτοιμη για τη μέτρηση και εμφανίζεται το ψηφίο
0
.
4. Η συσκευή φουσκώνει τη μανσέτα έως ότου σημειωθεί επαρκής πίεση για τη μέτρηση
Κατόπιν η συσκευή επιτρέπει αργά την εξαγωγή του αέρα από τη μανσέτα και εκτελεί
τη μέτρηση.
5. Όταν η μέτρηση ολοκληρωθεί, η μασέτα εξαερώνεται. Στην οθόνη
εμφανίζεται η
συστολική και η διαστολική πίεση του αίματος, όπως και η τιμή του παλμού με το
σύμβολο παλμού
. Η ένδειξη της πίεσης του αίματος
αναβοσβήνει δίπλα στην
αντίστοιχη έγχρωμη στήλη, σύμφωνα με την ταξινόμηση πίεσης αίματος κατά τον
Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Υγείας (WHO) (βλέπε σελίδα 168). Εάν η συσκευή εντοπίσει
άτακτο ρυθμό παλμών, αναβοσβήνει εππλέον η ένδειξη αρρυθμίας
.
6. Οι μετρηθείσες τιμές αποθηκεύονται αυτόματα. Σε δύο μνήμες (
U1
και
U2
) είναι εφικτή
η αποθήκευση συνολικά 120 τιμών μέτρησης με ώρα και ημερομηνία.
Η συσκευή διαθέτει σύστημα αυτόματης απενεργοποίησης. Αν δεν πατηθεί κανένα
πλήκτρο, η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα μετά από τρία λεπτά. Η συσκευή
μπορεί επίσης να απενεργοποιηθεί ανά πάσα στιγμή πιέζοντας το πλήκτρο START
.
Η ώρα και η ημερομηνία εμφανίζονται διαρκώς στην οθόνη.
