5.2 Blutzuckertest vorbereiten und
durchführen
5.2.1 Verwenden der Stechhilfe
Die Stechhilfe ermöglicht es Ihnen, einfach, schnell,
sauber einen Tropfen Blut für den Blutzuckertest zu
gewinnen.
Die Stechhilfe lässt sich individuell auf die Empfindlich-
keit Ihrer Haut einstellen. Ihre justierbare Spitze ist in 5
verschiedene Einstechtiefen einstellbar. Drehen Sie das
Kappenende in die entsprechende Richtung, bis der
Pfeil auf die Ziffer mit der gewünschten Einstechtiefe
zeigt.
Finden Sie die für Sie geeignete Einstechtiefe (siehe
Seite 30).
5.2.2 Einsetzen der Lanzette in die Stechhilfe
Vor Gebrauch der Stechhilfe müssen Sie eine Lanzette
einsetzen.

Bevor Sie einen Blutzuckertest durch-
führen und vor der Verwendung der
Stechhilfe, lesen Sie unbedingt voll-
ständig Kapitel 2 Sicherheitshinweise
(S. 7 - 15), insbesondere die Abschnitte
2.2 Hinweise für Ihre Gesundheit
(S. 9 - 11) und 2.3 Hinweise für die
Verwendung der Blutzucker-Teststreifen
(S. 12 - 13).
