Requisitos para

correctos
Sólo pueden obtenerse resultados fiables
si se cumplen ciertos requisitos:
• Efectúe la medición siempre con los pies descalzos.
• Los pies deben apoyarse firmemente en la plataforma encima de
los electrodos.
• Póngase derecho.
• Efectúe la medición aprox. 15 minutos después de levantarse y/o
ducharse o bañarse, con los pies ligeramente secados con una
toalla.
A ser posible, realice la medición siempre a la misma hora del día.
• No efectúe ninguna medición inmediatamente después de hacer
una actividad física intensa; espere por lo menos una hora.
• Las plantas de los pies no deben estar sucias. Si las plantas de
los pies están secas o muy callosas, los resultados de las medi-
ciones pueden ser incorrectos.
Los resultados de las mediciones permiten un control fiable del
desarrollo del porcentaje de la grasa corporal, del agua corporal
total y de la masa muscular, si las mediciones se efectúan de
manera consecuente. Si las mediciones se efectúan modificando
las condiciones, los valores medidos pueden variar.
