Die ersten Schritte mit Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 gehen schnell und einfach. Bevor Sie Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 verwenden können, müssen alle Kabel
angeschlossen und das Gerät eingeschaltet sein. Nachdem Sie die Hardware angeschlossen haben, können Sie die optionale Iomega Storage Manager Software
installieren und Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 wie gewünscht nutzen.
Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 verfügt über drei separate Schnittstellen:

Iomega Storage Manager
Als optionales Programm auf Ihrem lokalen Computer erkennt es alle im Subnetz vorhandenen Iomega-Speichergeräte, ordnet Geräte-Freigaben
Computern zu und bietet lokalen Zugang zu Ihren Inhalten. Es bietet über den Dateimanager Ihres Computers, wie Windows Explorer oder Mac Finder,
Zugriff auf alle Freigaben, wobei Sie auch mehrere Dateien per Drag-and-Drop zwischen Ihrem Computer und Iomega StorCenter ix2-200 transferieren
können. Die Installation von Iomega Storage Manager ist optional.

Dient als über das Internet zugängliche Schnittstelle für den Zugriff auf Iomega StorCenter ix2-200. Der Inhalt der Startseite wird mithilfe von Iomega
StorCenter ix2-200-Konsole konfiguriert. Wenn Sie mit Remote-Zugriff arbeiten, ist die Startseite die Zielseite, von der aus Sie auf Ihr Gerät
zugreifen. Sie gelangen auf die Startseite von Iomega StorCenter ix2-200, indem Sie den Namen oder die IP-Adresse des Geräts direkt in den Browser
eingeben. Wenn die Sicherheitsfunktion aktiviert ist und Sie Administrator sind, können Sie durch Klicken auf von der Startseite aus auf Iomega
StorCenter ix2-200-Konsole zugreifen.
