3.1. Veilige omgang met accu's/batterijen

Gevaar voor brandwonden!
Bij inslikken van batterijen bestaat gevaar voor inwen-
dig letsel, dat binnen twee uur dodelijk kan zijn. Wan-
neer de huid in contact komt met batterijzuur, bestaat
gevaar voor bijtende wonden.
Als u vermoed dat een batterij is ingeslikt of in een ander deel
van het lichaam terecht is gekomen, dan dient u onmiddellijk
om medische hulp te vragen.
Batterijen niet inslikken.
Vermijd contact met batterijzuur. Spoel na contact met de
huid, ogen of het slijmvlies de betreffende plaatsen met veel
schoon water en consulteer direct een arts.
Houd nieuwe en gebruikte batterijen uit de buurt van kinde-
ren.
Gebruik het apparaat niet meer als het batterijvakje niet goed
sluit en houd het uit de buurt van kinderen.
Haal lekkende batterijen direct uit het apparaat. Reinig de
contacten voordat u nieuwe batterijen plaatst.
