If the mains adapter, mains cable or the central unit are dam-
aged or if liquids or foreign bodies enter the interior of the
device, disconnect the mains adapter immediately from the
socket.
To avoid overheating, do not cover the mains adapter.
Never touch the mains adapter with wet hands.
Avoid exposing the device to water droplets or spray and do
not place any liquid-filled containers (vases or similar) on or
next to the device or the mains adapter. Liquids penetrating
the device may impair the electrical safety of the product.
3.3. Battery-operated components
WARNING!
Risk of chemical burns!
If a battery is swallowed, it can cause serious inter-
nal chemical burns within 2 hours that could result in
death.
If you suspect that batteries could have been swal-
lowed or entered any other part of the body, please
immediately seek medical attention.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of chil-
dren.
Stop using the components if the battery compartment does
not close securely and keep them out of the reach of children.
Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the
device and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean
them.
Only use new batteries of the same type. Never use old and
new batteries together.
Please note the polarity (+/-) when inserting the batteries.
There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly!
Replace the batteries only with the same or equivalent type.
Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a
risk of explosion!
