Installing and using the software

Installing the camera driver

Before connecting the camera to your computer you need to install the driver on the

computer. The driver is supplied on the CD-ROM included with the camera.

Proceed as follows to install the digital video driver and Ffdshow on your computer:

` Insert the CD in the correct drive on your computer. The welcome screen will

appear.

` Select “Install driver”.

` Follow the instructions on the screen.

` After installing the digital video driver, the installation of Ffdshow starts

automatically.

` Follow the instructions on the screen again.

Installing application programs

The CD supplied contains three application programs.

` Arcsoft Media Converter 2.5

You can convert videos to various formats with this program.

` Arcsoft MeiaImpression

You can use this software to produce many exciting and interesting projects

with your photos, videos and music files.

` Ffdshow

This program installs all drivers necessary to play or edit H264 files on your

computer.
