• Controleer of het geluid van de dvd-speler mogelijk is uitgeschakeld (toets
MUTE).
• Controleer of alle verbindingskabels tussen dvd-speler en eventueel aangeslo-
ten audiocomponenten goed in de betreffende aansluitingen gestoken zijn.
• Controleer of het volume mogelijk op laag staat.
• Controleer aan de hand van de gebruiksaanwijzing van de televisie of er eventu-
eel instellingen op de televisie nodig zijn om de dvd-speler samen met de televi-
sie te gebruiken.
• Controleer aan de hand van de gebruiksaanwijzing van een eventueel aangeslo-
ten audio-component of er hierop instellingen nodig zijn om deze samen met
de dvd-speler te gebruiken.

• Controleer aan de hand van de gebruiksaanwijzing van de televisie over welk
beeldformaat de televisie beschikt.
• Controleer of de instellingen in het OSD-menu bij het beschikbare beeldformaat
van de televisie passen.
Afstandsbediening werkt niet
• Controleer of de batterij van de afstandsbediening met de juiste polariteit in het
batterijvak is gezet.
• Controleer of de batterij van de afstandsbediening leeg is en vervang de batte-
rij zo nodig.
• Controleer of er geen hindernis tussen de afstandsbediening en dvd-speler
staat.
• Zorg dat u bij het gebruik van de afstandsbediening binnen de vijf meter van de
dvd-speler bent.
Beeldschermtaal/ondertitelingstaal komt niet overeen met de
instellingen in het OSD-menu
• De in het OSD-menu ingestelde beeldschermtaal/ondertitelingstaal is op de ge-
plaatste disk niet beschikbaar.
Een of meerdere functies kunnen niet worden ingeschakeld
• De gekozen functie is mogelijk niet op alle dvd‘s/VCD‘s/S-VCD‘s beschikbaar. Als
u probeert een niet beschikbare functie uit te voeren wordt het symbool op het
display weergegeven.
