Durante il primo riscaldamento si può avvertire un lieve odore. Non si-
gnifica che l’apparecchio sia difettoso. Ungere leggermente l’inserto to-
stapane, chiudere il coperchio e far riscaldare l’apparecchio per circa
10minuti senza alimenti. Provvedere a una sufficiente aerazione, ad
esempio aprendo una finestra.
7.1. Preparazione dei toast
La tostiera permette di tostare contemporaneamente max. quattro toast. Per la pre-
parazione dei toast è possibile utilizzare pane a cassetta di frumento, multicerea-
li o integrale. L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato anche per tostare fagottini di pasta
sfoglia pronta (scongelati).
Spennellare la superficie esterna delle fette di pane con burro, margarina od olio.
Aprire il coperchio.
Disporre il pane farcito sulla piastra tostapane inferiore inserendolo negli appo-
siti incavi.
Richiudere il coperchio esercitando una leggera pressione.
L’apparecchio è in fase di tostatura.
Dopo circa 4minuti controllare se i toast siano sufficientemente tostati.
Nel caso in cui siano ancora troppo chiari, richiudere il coperchio e lasciarli all’in-
terno dell’apparecchio ancora per breve tempo.
Quando i toast sono tostati, prelevarli con posate in legno o plastica resistenti
alle alte temperature.
L’apparecchio può essere immediatamente riutilizzato per tostare altri toast.
8. Spegnimento dell’apparecchio
Dopo ogni utilizzo spegnere l’apparecchio estraendo la spina dalla presa elettrica.
Lasciare raffreddare completamente l’apparecchio lasciando aperto il coperchio
e pulirlo.
9. Ricetta per toast Hawaii
Ingredienti
4 fette di pane a cassetta
2 fette di prosciutto cotto
2 fette di ananas
2 fette di Gouda
1/2 cucchiaino di burro o margarina
Preparazione
Spennellare la superficie esterna delle fette di pane con burro o margarina.
Farcire il pane a cassetta con il prosciutto cotto, l’ananas e il formaggio, quindi chiu-
dere il toast con una seconda fetta di pane.
Tostare il toast Hawaii come descritto al punto “7.1. Preparazione dei toast” a pagi-
na 85.
