6.3. Gebruik van het koffi ezetapparaat
Open het deksel en vul het waterreservoir aan de hand van de daarop aange-
brachte schaalaanduiding met de benodigde hoeveelheid koud water voor het
gewenste aantal kopjes.
Haal de thermoskan van de warmhoudplaat af en plaats de filterhouder met de uit-
sparing in de richting van de wateruitloop in het apparaat. Klap het hengsel neer.
De filterhouder kan maar in één richting in het apparaat worden geplaatst.
Doe een papieren koffiefilter (maat 1x4) of het permanente filter in de filterhou-
der. Zorg ervoor dat het filter goed in de filterhouder komt te zitten.
Doe de gewenste hoeveelheid gemalen koffie in het filter. Aanbevolen wordt
1 royale theelepel per kopje.
Klap het deksel dicht tot het hoorbaar vastklikt.
Zet de thermoskan midden op de warmhoudplaat en controleer of de kan recht
onder de filterhouder staat.
Druk de toets
in. Het controlelampje naast de toets licht rood op.
Het apparaat begint met koffiezetten.
U kunt het koffiezetten voortijdig afbreken door de toets in te drukken en zo
het koffiezetapparaat uit te schakelen.
Als u de toets opnieuw indrukt, gaat het apparaat weer verder met koffiezetten.
LET OP
U kunt kiezen hoe sterk u de koffie wilt hebben door op de toets te
drukken. Het controlelampje naast de toets licht oranje op (sterke
koffie).

Tijdens het koffiezetten zijn de toetsen , , en gedeactiveerd.
6.3.1. Druppelstopfunctie
De druppelstopfunctie maakt het mogelijk om de koffie die klaar is, alvast in te
schenken en het apparaat daarna weer te laten doorgaan met koffiezetten.
Haal de thermoskan voorzichtig van de warmhoudplaat af. Er loopt geen koffie
meer door het filter in de thermoskan; de koffie blijft in het filter zitten.
Zet de thermoskan binnen 30 seconden weer terug onder het filter. Anders be-
staat het risico dat het filter overloopt.
De sterkte van de koffie die wordt ingeschonken tijdens het zetten, kan anders zijn
dan de sterkte van de koffie die pas na het zetten wordt ingeschonken.
